English:
An ordinary, unprepared playing card is placed inside a small frame. The flap is opened, and the center of the card is pulled out ! You actually pull out the middle of an unprepared card right under your spectator's nose. Slip it back into place, and hand out the very same card for examination. This will kill your audience. How impossible can possible get ? What you see only inches away cannot ve taking place. This one will keep your audiance awake at night!

Review:
Mini-Zag is exactly what Tenyo like to offer to its customers. An ingenious idea with simple well designed props that does not seem gimmicked, a beautiful package, and the most important : a magical shock. Despite the undeniable ingenuity of the Shigeru Sugawara's creation I must admit that the handling requires a little bit of training to be truly convincing.  Nothing annoying anyway because you should always train before performing a magic trick. Nevertheless I was a little hesitant the first time I introduced this magic to my friends and I thought they immediately understand how the trick worked. Finally everyone was impressed and public reaction has been extremely positive. What is magical here is to come to a real miracle simply by using a small frame that looks really normal. My only regret is that Tenyo did not allow the lid to rotate at 360 degrees, because it would have allowed  to perform this magic in a different way (using the table or card mat or as in the photo above for example). The trick is not examinable, but the way it is built is very ingenious and suggests to the viewer that nothing can be gimmicked (like Mira-Metal). In conclusion Mini-Zag is a beautiful creation, well designed, with a never seen before zig-zag effect wich is completely new and innovative.

  2. Maybe you can find one on ebay. This one is discontinued so the only way is with another collector who is willing to sell his one. you can also do an exchange with other collectors, for example by going on the Magic Café Forum ( you can find the web link in Tenyo link section).
    See you.
